1.-Event Photography/Videography Order: This signed contract constitutes an order for photography and/or Videography in the form of photographs, footage, livestream, screenshots, proofs, albums and/or digital files. Video files will be delivered in the resolution chosen by the client either HD or UHD in an MP4 Format (no DVD or CD) the Edited Video file is an Editor’s Choice one, and for home use only. There are no verbal or other agreements between the parties hereto and this contract constitutes full and complete understanding between the client and IOB.

The client Acknowledges that he or she has seen samples of our work displayed in our website, social media platforms and that IOB agrees to produce the work of the like quality already seen.

1.1.-Livestream Services: the client acknowledges that this service is conditional to the following term and conditions:

• Have a strong connection to the internet via Ethernet, Wi-Fi or LTE Cellular connection,
• There is a delay (aka latency) of 7 seconds minimum during the transmission,
• The resolution given by default is 720p unless there is sufficient resources to broadcast at 1080p,
• No adult material or violent content will be streamed as We reserve the right to stop, pause or terminate our livestream service should we feel that the content is against the C.B.S. (Canadian Broadcasting Standards)
• IOB will use RMTP (Real time Messaging Protocol) to avoid copyright infringement of any music or material used in your event.
• IOB May use a secondary channel via our YouTube or Facebook page to stream your event.

2.-Limit of Liability: Although care will be taken with the digital files and photographs on the event day, IOB limits any liability for loss, damage or failure to deliver the service for any reason on behalf of Photographer, agents, assigns or licensees for their non-performance caused by any force or similar circumstances, illness, accident or any cause beyond their control; nor for the loss or damage of any photographic materials, whether in transit or in processing to return all money paid by client. In any event, the limit of the photographer’s liability shall not exceed the contract price stated herein. I hereby acknowledge that the services above described are provided at my own risk CLIENT INITIAL_____ 

3.-Exclusive Supplier: It is understood that no other photographer or videographer, amateur or professional, shall be allowed to photograph or Tape at the wedding/event near the photographer & Videographer while he or she is working due to reasons of IOB delivering the quality of images as expected. (Guests are excluded) Any breech of this agreement can constitute a reason for non-completion of the job with no liability to IOB and IOB reserves the right to assign the most suitable Staff for your event based on our availability, skills and experience.

4. Ownership of Digital Files: It is agreed the ownership of the digital files will transfer to the client upon full payment of the services here in contracted. Under no circumstances IOB will release any RAW or unedited material (images, footage)

5.- Display Promotion: It is agreed that IOB may display and use photographs/Video from the event for advertising, display, website, and internet promotion, photographic contests, bridal shows, public display as in malls, photography books, photography instructional books, store fronts, window display, television advertising, magazine advertising, or any other purpose thought proper by IOB.

6.- Reservation Retainer & Payment Schedule: Upon signature or receipt of retainer via e transfer IOB reserves the time and date agreed upon and will not make any other reservations for that time and date. For this reason, the retainer outlined in the contract is non-refundable, even if date is changed or the event is cancelled for any reason not limited to what is stated in clause 10 of this agreement. Retainer is applied towards the total cost of the Services agreed upon. If no retainer has been received within __ days of the date this agreement, it is then considered NULL and VOID.

7.- Guaranteed Delivery: IOB agrees to have the Edited Images/Video Edited Footage stated in this contract within a reasonable time not exceeding 4 weeks after the event day these will be Editor’s Choice and for Photographs the client can order extra Edited Images at an extra cost, all files/footage will be deleted 4 weeks after the event date.

9.- Independent Contractor: This contract is not to be construed as an employment agreement in anyway. The photographer functions as an independent contractor.

10. Cancellation: The client acknowledges that all monies and payments are non-refundable even if the wedding is cancelled because of acts of God, fire, natural disasters, strikes, health crisis, civil unrest, pandemics, buyer’s remorse, and extreme weather

10.1 Rescheduling your event is subject to availability and within 12 months of the Original Date at no price increase unless new services are added, or your new date falls in a Prime Date (Statutory holidays, long weekends).

11. Expenses: The client is responsible for all travel, accommodation, meals, resort access fees and transport costs unless otherwise noted in the contract.

Absolutely! we at IOB are first and foremost thankful that you have chosen us to be a part of your BIG day and when you wish to use 2 or more of our Products and Services we definitely work a nice deal package for you, this includes and is not limited to a “price rounding, wedding gift, extra services, complimentary upgrades on your package etc”

In an Average Season we do anywhere between 25 to 30 weddings in Alberta and 4 to 6 in Mexico, a Season is considered between May and October for Canada and November to March in Mexico (excluding December)

We primarily serve Red Deer, Calgary and 20 km radius of each city, we also serve the towns of Canmore, Banff Lake Louise, however towns within the QE2 between Red Deer and Calgary are also served such as Bowden,Innisfail Olds,Airdrie etc

Yes we like to be transparent with you and here are some of the optional or extra fees to consider:

• $.50 ct km Mileage Fee a Km outside the City limits of Red Deer and Calgary
• $300.00 ph Video Serviceby the Hour when only needing our services for 1 hr within the City limits

As Stated on Clause 9th of our contract the client is responsible for all travel accommodation and transportation expenses for us to go to locations outside the City Limits

We assign your photographer/videographer based on their experience skills and availability, be assured that each and everyone of our talented team members will deliver the quality you are seeing on our work as a whole company.

We like to give you the best material/footage possible this means taking the time to correct fix and edit, imagine if you go to a Pizzeria and ask the cook to give you the uncooked Pizza, and you don’t know how to cook it properly, then the pizza will no longer taste as it should be
